Yes Buddy...

Isaac this morning corrected me and it was hill-air-ee-ous! He was calling me from his room, "Mommy," and I responded with a "Yes Isaac." That did not meet with his approval however. He comes running to me in the kitchen, pulls on my hand until I am eye to eye with him (I know, I don't have far to go to be eye to eye with my son) and he grabs boths sides of my face and says, "No Mommy, it's 'Yes Buddy'. I Buddy." How adorable is that.

Superman

In our home, the super hero of choice is Superman. That is, at least he is to three of the four people living there. The cats don't seem to have an opinion either way. But they probably would choose Superman too, just to spite me. That's how they roll. (I prefer Batman because he could possibly be real, no super powers, just super smart.) Anyway, Isaac has really caught the Superman fever and he lives, eats, sleeps and prays Superman. Many nighttime prayers from him include thanking Jesus for Superman. We also sing the theme song about every 15 minutes here. We don't plan it like that, but it seems to be necessary for it to be sung often. Now every time it is sung two things happen. One, Isaac pulls down on the collar of his shirt to show us the Superman symbol that is on his chest, which is imaginary, and then he runs of like a mad man screaming "Superman!" Secondly, if the little princess is awake, she will shoot both her arms in the arm waiting for somebody to quickly pick her up and fly her through the air. And you just better hope there is someone else around to pick up Isaac too and fly with him or there could be meltdowns. So there ya have it, we love Superman.
